Cedric Lane, UK national born in 1947 and educated in the UK, BSc Degree in Chemistry from London University. Worked in the Textile Industry as an Industrial Chemist for 5 years. Joined the Oilfield in the UK with Sperry Sun in 1973, worked in on Oil rigs in surveying, pressure measurement and analysis and steering tool services. Travelled the world and ran jobs in England, Scotland, Shetlands, Norway, Holland, Germany, Japan, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Qatar. For three years 1976 – 1979 supervised operations in Dubai and Aberdeen, then worked as District Manager in Holland until 1982, Regional Operations Manager Dubai until 1986. The senior years, up to 1992 with Sperry Sun were as Middle East Regional Manager and Eastern Hemisphere Manager of Planning and Analysis reporting to VP. Business and commercial experience.

Then, worked for six years in Yemen until 1998, for local Company Hayel Saeed and Anam, who entered the Oilfield Service sector. Managed the JV and Agency company HASCO, extensive experience gained in all aspects of Agency and JV business.

Joined BecField in 1998 as Business Manager and through the acquisition process by Precision Drilling and then Weatherford International worked until 2016 as Business manager and Commercial Manage. Commercial experience focused on Contract Review, Tender submissions, Strategic direction and Optimization of the business model.
